Earlham Nursery Food Group

At Earlham Nursery we encourage the children to participate in decision making activities. One opportunity is by representing their peers on the Food Group. 

Members of this group include children from each class, a member of staff, who is responsible for facilitating the group and keeping minutes and our wonderful cook Bridie. 

The purpose of this group is to allow children to give feedback on the food they have at nursery, for snack and lunch, and make requests and suggestions for future menus. 

Staff in each room will support the class reps to gather the views of their peers and facilitate feedback and organise any voting activities which are required.  

Each week Bridie, our wonderful cook creates a menu. Each class has snack provided free of charge each day and Fox and Robin classes also have a lunch freshly prepared onsite by Bridie. The menus for the two classes vary according to dietary and medical needs of the children.
