Food
We are very fortunate to have our own onsite cook Bridie who makes our wonderful meals each day. Bridie supports Fox class to ensure each child's food plan is adhered to and children's individual needs are met.
The Rabbit 30 hours children love to share their thoughts about their lunches with Bridie. They often give suggestions about the menu, and where possible Bridie tries to surprise the children with their ideas.
Here is an example of one of our weekly menus.
In addition to the lovely meals and snacks Bridie prepares for the children across school, staff also regularly plan cooking lessons with the children. Children write their shopping lists and usually visit the local Aldi's to purchase their ingredients for their recipes. This is a lovely opportunity for the children to prepare food to share with their friends.
