Early Years Pupil Premium

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) 2022-2023

During this year Earlham Nursery School received £10,012.02 in EYPP funding.  

Analysis of assessment data for the children in receipt of EYPP identified the following areas of need:

• Communication and language.

• Personal, social and emotional development.

• Emotional wellbeing.

• Critical thinking.

This funding was used to provide weekly Forest School session to every child. These sessions focused on developing children emotional wellbeing, resilience, self confidence and team building skills. In addition staff focused on developing children confidence to speak in a group, share their thinking and develop their vocabulary. 

Each child’s progress was monitored and reviewed on a half termly basis.
