Wildlife Trust

During the autumn term the children took part in the Wildlife Trust's Hedgehog Walk fundraising event. 

Over the week of 6th November the children walked 3km, the distance a hedgehog can walk in one evening! The children learnt how to develop wildlife areas in our wonderful garden, gathering up leaves and sticks and making piles for hibernating insects and wildlife. 

We even had to rescue a hedgehog when we found one out during the day on our first walk!
